The story behind our name


We started playing together around 2010, and took our name from this book that Sarah remembers from childhood.

Eileen Soper was an illustrator and etcher who specialised in children’s books and wildlife. She was the youngest artist ever to exhibit work at the Royal Academy, aged just 15, and went on to illustrate many of Enid Blyton’s stories. Eileen and her sister, Eva (a skilled potter) lived in a house called Wildings, where they led a reclusive life surrounded by nature.

Since then, a certain multi-million dollar book/TV franchise has appeared, just to muddy the waters…
